The monoprint is a misprint of a postcard edition and in this respect an exciting testimony to the artist's printmaking process. Originally, the multiple was based on a press photograph showing Beuys and students leaving the secretariat of the art academy, where they had spent the night in protest against the fact that the students were not admitted

Erläuterungen

Der Monoprint ist ein Fehldruck einer Postkartenedition und insofern ein spannendes Zeugnis des druckgrafischen Arbeitsprozesses des Künstlers. Ursprünglich basierte das Multiple auf einer Pressefotografie, die Beuys und Studierende beim Verlassen des Sekretariates der Kunstakademie zeigt, wo sie aus Protest dagegen, dass die Studierenden nicht zugelassen wurden, die Nacht zugebracht hatten
