Large black brush drawings are part of Julia Steiner's concept. With a blunt brush, she rubs the paint on the paper and allows little of the light paper background to show through. In this way, the composition covers the entire sheet in a "horror vacui"-like manner. Origami, the art of folding paper, is only apparent at second glance in the work on offer

Grosse schwarze Pinselzeichnungen gehören zum Konzept von Julia Steiner. Mit stumpfem Pinsel verreibt sie die Farbe auf dem Papier und lässt wenig vom hellen Papiergrund durchscheinen.
