An early example of one of the ceramics produced from 1947 onwards at the Atelier Madoura by Georges and Suzanne Ramié. Picasso repeatedly returned to the motif of the owl in later works. The present small jug is an authentic replica of an original in an edition of 200 copies.

Frühes Beispiel einer der Keramiken, die ab 1947 im Atelier Madoura von Georges und Suzanne Ramié entstanden. Das Motif der Eule griff Picasso später immer wieder auf. Bei dem vorliegenden kleinen Krug handelt es sich um eine authentische Replik eines Originals in einer Auflage von 200 Exemplaren.
