Inside the base signed and dated by the artist in felt-tip pen "Werro / 1997"
The functionality of the spinning top has not been tested. In very good condition
The humming top is a well-known toy with a long history dating back to the 19th century. It was invented by Wilhelm Simon in Nuremberg and patented in 1879.

Der Brummkreisel ist ein bekanntes Spielzeug mit einer langen Geschichte, die bis ins 19. Jahrhundert zurückreicht. Er wurde von Wilhelm Simon in Nürnberg erfunden und 1879 patentiert.
