In 1954, a Marc Chagall exhibition on the theme "Paris" took place at Galerie Maeght. At that time, Chagall created a series of nine colour lithographs and two black and white lithographs with Parisian city scenes for the magazine "Derrière le Miroir".

Im Jahr 1954 fand in der Galerie Maeght eine Marc-Chagall-Ausstellung statt zum Thema "Paris". Chagall schuf damals für die Revue "Derrière le Miroir" eine Serie von neun Farblithographien und zwei schwarz-weiss Lithographien mit Pariser Stadtszenen.
