Condition

The sheet slightly irregularly browned in the paper and minimally stained with a slight light-struck area, the collector's stamp on the reverse slightly showing through the paper, traces of old mounting on the reverse. In very good condition

Time and again, archaic-looking images of men can be found in Munch's oeuvre (see, for example, lots 870 or 896). Printed by Lassally in Berlin.

Immer wieder finden sich archaisch anmutende Männerbilder im Œuvre Munchs (vgl. etwa Lose 870 oder 896). Bei Lassally in Berlin gedruckt.
