    Minimal discolouration in the paper, very fine condition

    Comments

    Metropolitan impression from Berlin. The sheet depicting a woman well known in the city is also called 'Matrosenbraut'. The woman would look out for her husband, who had already fallen in 1870/1871, every day on the 'Unter den Linden' avenue.

    Grossstadtimpression aus Berlin. Das Blatt mit einem Stadtoriginal wird auch "Matrosenbraut" genannt; die damals stadtbekannte Frau hielt täglich Ausschau nach ihrem bereits 1870/1871 gefallenen Mann auf der Allee "Unter den Linden".
