The limited edition object "Diamond (Red)" made of Limoges porcelain was produced in the famous workshops of Bernardaud and recreates the monumental sculpture "Celebration". The sculpture is part of Koons’ iconic Celebration series, created in 1994 and consisting of 16 paintings and 20 large-format sculptures. The original 1.5 M long diamond (1994-2005) was created in five colors (green, pink, blue, yellow, and red) from highly polished stainless steel with a transparent color coating.

Erläuterungen

Das limitierte Auflagenobjekt "Diamond (Red)" aus Limoges-Porzellan wurde in den berühmten Werkstätten von Bernardaud hergestellt und gibt die monumentale Skulptur "Celebration" wieder. Die Plastik ist Teil von Koons’ ikonischer Celebration-Serie, die 1994 entstand und aus 16 Gemälden und 20 grossformatigen Skulpturen besteht. Der ursprünglich 1,5 m lange Diamant (1994-2005) wurde in fünf Farben (Grün, Rosa, Blau, Gelb und Rot) aus hochglanzpoliertem Edelstahl mit transparenter Farbbeschichtung geschaffen.
