Left margin slightly with some foxing. Impeccable in impression and condition
One of the ink lithographs that Picasso created in the spring of 1948 on seven remaining zinc plates. The printer Fernand Mourlot had supplied him with a series of zinc plates so that he could complete the illustrations for "Le Chant des Morts", which he had already begun in 1945.
Musicians and fauns appear repeatedly in Picasso's oeuvre, here in a black and white depiction. Stylistically, the depiction is reminiscent of contemporary ceramics that were created from 1947 onwards at the Atelier Madoura by Georges and Suzanne Ramié.

Linker Rand etwas stockfleckig.
