Comments

Print outside the edition of 1963. This sheet was made from two linoleum plates: A. The border, which was later used for other sheets of the same size, always printed in a single colour. B. The plate for the head, printed in two different shades of grey, white, and black. Charming depiction of a noble Spanish lady, freely after El Greco. "Fraise" is the French term for a ruff.

Druck ausserhalb der Auflage von 1963. Dieses Blatt stammt von zwei Linolplatten: A. Die Umrandung, die später noch für andere Blätter der gleichen Grösse Verwendung fand, immer einfarbig gedruckt. B. Die Platte für den Kopf, gedruckt in zwei verschiedenen Grautönen, Weiss und Schwarz. Reizvolle Darstellung einer edlen spanischen Dame, frei nach El Greco. "Fraise" ist der französische Begriff für eine Halskrause
