The drypoint on celluloid allows for only a few prints. Copies have become known, including the numbered edition. The present example is one of eight trial proofs before the edition, five of which are in public collections. Available prints are extremely rare. The sheet was printed by Heinrich Wetteroth in Munich.

Die Kaltnadelarbeit auf Celluloid erlaubt nur wenige Drucke. Exemplaren bekannt geworden, die nummerierte Auflage eingeschlossen. Das vorliegende Exemplar ist einer von acht Probedrucken vor der Edition, wovon sich fünf in öffentlichen Sammlungen befinden. Verfügbare Drucke sind äusserst selten. Gedruckt wurde das Blatt von Heinrich Wetteroth in München.
