With a small spot at the left sheet edge. Wavy at the lower sheet edge. In very good condition

Comments

The etching was originally created for an illustration in the publication by René Char, "Poèmes de deux années 1953-1954", Paris 1955, but was not used. The sheet from the edition was included with the deluxe copies of the exhibition catalogue "Alberto Giacometti" of Galerie Klipstein und Kornfeld, July/August 1959.

Ursprünglich war die Radierung für eine Illustration in der Publikation von René Char, "Poèmes de deux années 1953-1954", Paris 1955, entstanden, aber nicht verwendet worden.

Das Blatt der Auflage lag den Vorzugsexemplaren des Ausstellungskataloges "Alberto Giacometti" der Galerie Klipstein und Kornfeld, Juli/August 1959, bei.
