The watercolour is a preparatory drawing for the woodcut of the same name from 1911 (cf. Stauffer 19). In contrast to the woodcut, only two figures are depicted here.

Das Aquarell ist eine Vorzeichnung zum gleichnamigen Holzschnitt von 1911 (vgl. Stauffer 19). Hier sind im Gegensatz zum Holzschnitt nur zwei Figuren dargestellt.
