The limited edition object "Diamond (Red)" made of Limoges porcelain was produced in the famous Bernardaud workshops and reproduces the monumental sculpture "Celebration". The sculpture is part of Koons' iconic Celebration series, which was created in 1994 and consists of 16 paintings and 20 large sculptures. The original 1.5 m long diamond (1994-2005) was created in five colours (green, pink, blue, yellow and red) from highly polished stainless steel with a transparent colour coating.

Erläuterungen

Das limitierte Auflagenobjekt "Diamond (Red)" aus Limoges-Porzellan wurde in den berühmten Werkstätten von Bernardaud hergestellt und gibt die monumentale Skulptur "Celebration" wieder. Die Plastik ist Teil von Koons’ ikonischer Celebration-Serie, die 1994 entstand und aus 16 Gemälden und 20 grossformatigen Skulpturen besteht. Der ursprünglich 1,5 m lange Diamant (1994-2005) wurde in fünf Farben (Grün, Rosa, Blau, Gelb und Rot) aus hochglanzpoliertem Edelstahl mit transparenter Farbbeschichtung geschaffen.
