Condition

Two pinholes at top and bottom centre. Upper right corner with crease. Colour fresh impression in very fine condition

Comments

In 1892, Paul Signac discovered the harbour of the picturesque fishing village of Saint-Tropez on the Mediterranean with his sailing boat "Olympia". He subsequently rented a house and later bought a country estate, where he spent the summer months from then on.

Erläuterungen

Paul Signac entdeckte 1892 mit seinem Segelboot "Olympia" den Hafen des malerischen Fischerortes Saint-Tropez am Mittelmeer. In der Folge mietete er sich zunächst ein und kaufte später einen Landsitz, in dem er fortan die Sommermonate verbrachte.
