The paper stained, the print in good condition
The print appeared in 1897 in the "Album des Peintres-Graveurs", published by Ambroise Vollard, Paris, and represents a special feature in the artist's graphic oeuvre, as he only created two colour prints in total. A fine example of Symbolism, the title is probably based on Dante's youthful work "Vita Nova", in which he describes his love for Beatrice.

Das Papier fleckig, der Druck in guter Erhaltung
Das Blatt erschien 1897 im "Album des Peintres-Graveurs", herausgegeben von Ambroise Vollard, Paris, und stellt eine Besonderheit im graphischen Œuvre des Künstlers dar, da er insgesamt nur zwei Farbdrucke schuf. Ein schönes Beispiel des Symbolismus, der Titel dürfte auf Dantes Jugendwerk "Vita nova", in der er seine Liebe zu Beatrice schildert, zurückgehen.
