The present work comes from the period "Objets à réaction poétique" (Poetically reacting objects). A slightly abstracted lantern with a double support ring is depicted on the left. It is flanked on the right by a coffee pot whose spout merges with the lantern and whose lid is connected to the support rings. Both objects appear as a unit. Between 1930 and 1935, Le Corbusier created a series of drawings with this subject.

Erläuterungen

Die vorliegende Arbeit stammt aus der Periode "Objets à réaction poétique" (Poetisch reagierende Objekte). Dargestellt ist links eine leicht abstrahierte Laterne mit einem doppelten Tragring. Sie wird rechts von einer Kaffeekanne flankiert, deren Ausguss mit der Laterne verschmilzt und deren Deckel mit den Tragringen verbunden ist. Beide Gegenstände erscheinen als Einheit. Zwischen 1930 und 1935 schuf Le Corbusier eine Reihe von Zeichnungen mit diesem Sujet.
