The picturesque stretch of coastline between Cannes and Saint-Raphaël on the Côte d'Azur has always attracted many artists, including Guillaumin. In this small-format work, he beautifully captures nature and the magical light of the south.

Erläuterungen

Der malerische Küstenabschnitt zwischen Cannes und Saint-Raphaël an der Côte d’Azur war schon immer ein Anziehungspunkt für zahlreiche Künstler, so auch für Guillaumin. Er hält in diesem kleinformatigen Werk die Natur und das magische Licht des Südens auf wunderbare Weise fest.
