Early work by the artist, dating from the time of her stay in Vienna. While one girl points somnambulistically down the slope, it seems as if the second girl, like an angel, wants to save her from the abyss by putting her hand protectively on her shoulder.

Frühe Arbeit der Künstlerin, die in die Zeit ihres Wien-Aufenthalts fällt. Während ein Mädchen traumwandlerisch den Hang hinunter zeigt, scheint es, als würde das zweite Mädchen, einem Engel gleich, sie vor dem Abgrund bewahren wollen, in dem es ihm die Hand beschützend auf die Schulter legt
