The watercolour is mounted on a backing sheet (backing sheet with a vertical cut in the centre). The drawing in the left margin with a small hole, the colours fresh and overall in good condition.
Georges Rouault created several versions of this landscape on paper between 1912 and 1914, which are similar in their composition and reduced colouring

Georges Rouault schuf zwischen 1912 und 1914 mehrere Fassungen dieser Landschaft auf Papier, die sich in ihrer Komposition und der reduzierten Farbgebung ähneln
