In the summer of 1909, Emil Nolde stayed in Ruttebüll, a village on the North Sea, and created several drawings. Shown is the lake there with farmhouse and lock. Today's Nolde Museum in Seebüll is only a stone's throw away

Im Sommer 1909 hielt sich Emil Nolde in Ruttebüll, einem Dorf an der Nordsee auf und schuf mehrere Zeichnungen. Gezeigt wird der dortige See mit Bauernhaus und Schleuse. Das heutige Nolde-Museum in Seebüll liegt nur einen Steinwurf weit entfernt
