On wove paper (papier vélin). At upper margin with minor rubbing in the paper, outside of the image. With mounting remnants on the reverse side
It depicts Yvonne, Le Corbusier's wife, whom the artist portrayed several times in the late 1920s. Our drawing also dates from this period. He later took up the motif again in 1939 in two oil paintings and in 1959 in drawings and gouaches.

Dargestellt ist Yvonne, die Ehefrau von Le Corbusier, die der Künstler Ende der 1920er Jahre mehrmals portraitierte. Auch unsere Zeichnung stammt aus dieser Zeit. Später nahm er das Motiv 1939 in zwei Ölgemälden und 1959 in Zeichnungen und Gouachen wieder auf
