    Various mass

    Provenance

Theodore Lucas Feininger (also T. Lux Feininger); by inheritance to private collection USA

    Condition

In beautiful condition, with traces of use

    Comments

Head with green hair, 8.5x4x4.5 cm

and black-yellow face, 6.4x4x3.5 cm, could not be detected in the publications

In addition to the wooden sculptures, which together formed the ensemble "The City at the End of the World", he also created individual objects that are difficult to classify and also Christmas tree decorations. The present, large head with green hair is clearly recognisable as a Christmas tree ornament with its hanging hook. It is reminiscent of the monumental Moai statues on Easter Island. The small face, on the other hand, seems to be inspired more by African sculpture
