    Condition

The mirror sporadically with slight oxidation spots, the plasticine somewhat brittle and cracked due to age, especially at the upper base. Fragile object, overall in good condition

    Comments

With a simple wire structure standing on a mirror base, held only by two small plasticine pedestals, the artist visualises the silhouette of a woman's face tilted backwards. The eye area is playfully embellished by attached art leaves and gives the profile its figurative legibility. "The play with the graphic and materialised line, with the relativity of the point of view, becomes the pivotal point in the perception of this work," is aptly written about this work in the exhibition catalogue at the Kunsthaus Langenthal from 2004. Important, early work by the artist, created in 1970 in his studio in Amsterdam

    Zustand

Fragiles Objekt, insgesamt in guter Erhaltung
