In good condition, functional, rod and V-belt replaced
"The Spinner" belongs to the last group of sculptures executed in the summer of 1991, which was intended for the "Biennale de Lyon", September 1991. Due to Tinguely's unexpected death in the middle of the exhibition preparations, the works were never installed there, but remained in his studio.

"Der Spinner" gehört zu der letzten, im Sommer 1991 ausgeführten Skulpturengruppe, die für die "Biennale de Lyon", September 1991, vorgesehen war. Durch den mitten in den Ausstellungsvorbereitungen unerwarteten Tod Tinguelys wurden die Werke dort nie installiert, sondern verblieben in seinem Atelier
