Very beautiful in condition. In the original box frame
The composition moves between figurative painting and pure expressiveness. After acquiring a vineyard near St-Romain in Burgundy in 1971, Rolf Iseli became increasingly involved with nature and the earth. This resulted in the Bovist leaves and the depictions of male figures made of earth and rushes, the so-called "Homme de jonc", in his work.

Ulm 1974, Ulmer Museum, Rolf Iseli,
