Impeccable casting in best condition
The figure is the result of a fantastic metamorphosis in which Leiko Ikemura fuses animal, floral and human elements into new beings in her workp. The term "Miko", which frequently appears in the artist's titles, is the name of her cat and means "beautiful child" or "priestess" in Japanese.
