Condition

In perfect colours and clean in condition, minimal rubbing of the colour through the frame on the left and below. On the original stretcher, on the reverse with the stamp of the canvas supplier "Blanchet / 11 rue Bonaparte / Paris", in the old nailing.

Comments

One of the beautiful portraits that occupy an important place in Kisling's work. Honoured in the catalogue raisonné with a full-page colour illustration. Marguerite Gros married the Portuguese painter Adriano Sousa Lopes.

Erläuterungen

Eines der schönen Portraits, die im Werk von Kisling einen bedeutenden Platz einnehmen. Im Werkverzeichnis mit einer ganzseitigen farbigen Abbildung gewürdigt. Marguerite Gros heiratete den portugiesischen Maler Adriano Sousa Lopes
