Perfect, deep black impression in very nice condition with title and all addresses in lower margin and in lower centre with the triangular blindstamp of E. Ardit, Paris, compare Lugt 21/g and Lugt online 3203. On strong wove paper (papier vélin), with margins.
Very rare in this printing quality, with all addresses and in such good condition. Identified by the blindstamp "E. Ardit" as an early edition print. Next to the depiction "Lion de l'Atlas" one of the two main sheets in the graphic work of Delacroix. The depictions were created in Paris in 1829-1830 by the artist, who was barely 30 years old. The works go back to studies in the zoological garden in Paris and probably to stories.

Tadelloser, tiefschwarzer Druck in sehr schöner Erhaltung mit Titel und allen Adressen im Unterrand und in der Mitte unten mit dem dreieckigen Blindstempel von E. Ardit, Paris, vgl. Lugt 21/g und Lugt online 3203. Auf festem Velin, mit Rand
In dieser Druckqualität, mit allen Adressen und von so guter Erhaltung sehr selten. Durch den Blindstempel "E. Ardit" als früher Auflagedruck ausgewiesen. Neben der Darstellung "Lion de l'Atlas" eines der beiden Hauptblätter im graphischen Werk von Delacroix. Die Darstellungen wurden 1829-1830 vom kaum 30 Jahre alten Künstler in Paris geschaffen. Die Arbeiten gehen auf Studien im zoologischen Garten in Paris und wohl auf Erzählungen zurück
