The drawing is the preparatory drawing for the cover of the booklet "Minotaure", issues 12-13, the "Troisième Série", published in May 1939, which was the final issue, the publication had to be stopped after 11 issues, two of them double numbers, for financial reasons and the signs of the coming war

Bei der Zeichnung handelt es sich um die Vorzeichnung für den Umschlag des Heftes "Minotaure", Heft 12-13, der "Troisième Série", publiziert im Mai 1939. Dieses Heft war der Schlusspunkt, die Publikation musste nach 11 Heften, zwei davon Doppelnummern, aus finanziellen Gründen und den Anzeichen des kommenden Krieges eingestellt werden
