This large-format, important work, which resumes the theme of the "Pyrénéenneenne", realized in Ozon in 1940, with the depiction of two nudes, compare the drawings FLC 3340, 3314, 3313 as well as the paintings CR 259 and 263. In the lower part of the picture, a still life with table, glasses, plates and an oval top blends wonderfully into the composition.

Grossformatiges, wichtiges Werk, das mit der Darstellung von zwei Akten das 1940 in Ozon realisierte Thema der "Pyrénéenne" wieder aufnimmt, vergleiche die Zeichnungen FLC 3340, 3314, 3313 sowie die Gemälde CR 259 und 263. Im unteren Bildteil fügt sich ein Stillleben mit Tisch, Gläsern, Tellern und einer ovalen Platte wunderbar in die Komposition ein.

Neben seiner pionierhaften Arbeit als Architekt schuf Le Corbusier ein umfangreiches malerisches Werk, in dem die Collage eine grosse Bedeutung hat
