On heavy wove paper, in clean condition
The works, also called "Alfabeto paintings", are references to various art movements that Kounellis appropriated for his expression of "Arte Povera". In this way, references to Concept Art and Pop Art can be made. The apparently random arrangements of stenciled letters, numbers and symbols were applied to the leaves using a unique "reproduction technique". Inspired by street signs and markings, the simultaneous arrangement evokes movement and dynamism. A very nice, reduced work in yellow and green

Die auch "Alfabeto-Gemälde" genannten Werke sind Referenzen an verschiedene Kunstrichtungen, die Kounellis für seine Ausprägung der "Arte Povera" sich aneignete. So können Bezüge zur Konzeptkunst und zur Pop Art hergestellt werden. Die scheinbar zufälligen Anordnungen von Schablonenbuchstaben, Zahlen und Symbolen wurden in einer einzigartigen "Reproduktionstechnik" auf die Blätter aufgetragen. Inspiriert von Strassenschildern und –markierungen evoziert die simultane Anordnung die Bewegung und die Dynamik. Eine sehr schöne, reduzierte Arbeit in Gelb und Grün
