Commentaires

In addition to the edition of 50 numbered copies, five prints were made for the artist. Contrary to the date given by Mourlot, according to Ulrike Gauss, the lithograph was made on 30 March 1954, which correspond to the date printed in the upper left margin. In addition to the present, very colourful version, there is also a version in shades of grey with green.

Erläuterungen

Neben der Auflage von 50 nummerierten Exemplaren entstanden fünf Abzüge für den Künstler. Entgegen der Datumsangabe bei Mourlot ist die Lithographie nach Ulrike Gauss am 30. März 1954 entstanden, entsprechend der gedruckten Datierung im oberen Rand links. Neben der vorliegenden, sehr farbigen Fassung existiert eine Version in Grautönen mit Grün.
