Minimal discolouration to the left margin, slight studio traces on the reverse. In very fine condition

Commentaires

From the series of lithographs that Degas created in the years 1891-1892, none of which had a regular edition. The present sheet from state I shows a maid holding a bathrobe on the right. After lengthy research, Reed/Shapiro are aware of a total of around 20 copies of state I, including the present one.

Erläuterungen

Aus der Serie der Lithographien, die Degas in den Jahren 1891-1892 schuf und die alle keine reguläre Auflage erfuhren. Das vorliegende Blatt des I. Zustand zeigt rechts eine Zofe, die einen Bademantel bereithält. Reed/Shapiro sind nach langwierigen Nachforschungen gesamthaft gut 20 Exemplare des I. Zustandes bekannt geworden, einschliesslich des vorliegenden.
