A pair of lovers floats in the dark blue night sky. The intimate scene is illuminated by a stylised menorah, the traditional candelabrum on the left

Eine sehr schöne Rückbesinnung an die eigene Zeit in Witebsk. Der Künstler selbst sitzt vor seinem Elternhaus, dessen Türe geöffnet ist, selber an der Staffelei, einen üppigen Blumenstrauss malend. Im dunkelblauen Nachthimmel schwebt ein Liebespaar, die intime Szene wird links von einer stilisierten Menora beleuchtet
