In this village near Stampa, the 35-year-old artist lived with his family in the house "Ca d'Dolf" until October 1904. Erläuterungen

Giovanni Giacometti stellt in diesem Werk einen Sommernachmittag mit einer saftig grünen Wiese mit Nussbäumen bei Borgonovo dar. In diesem Dorf in der Nähe von Stampa wohnte der 35-jährige Künstler mit seiner Familie im Haus "Ca d'Dolf" bis im Oktober 1904. Im Hintergrund, verdeckt durch die Nussbäume, sind die Häuser des Bergdorfes erkennbar
