One of the most striking sculptures that Chillida created in fired earth (fired reddish clay also called chamotte stone). The first Lurra sculpture, Lurra 1, dates from 1973. Eine der markantesten Skulpturen, die Chillida in gebrannter Erde schuf (gebrannter rötlicher Ton, auch Chamottestein genannt). Die erste Lurra Skulptur, Lurra 1, stammt aus dem Jahre 1973. Chillida schuf seine Skulpturen primär in Eisen, Marmor und gebrannter Erde. Die Skulptur kann sowohl horizontal als auch vertikal gestellt werden
