Commentaires

From the series of "Horizons"; completely reduced, the images are reminiscent of landscapes. The two lines that characterize the picture are continued on the sides of the painting and so literally disappear into infinity. The picture was taken in his home and studio in Vacciago on Lake Orta, where the "Fondazione Calderara" is located today

Aus der Serie der "Horizonte"; völlig reduziert erinnern die Bilder an Landschaften. Die beiden das Bild prägenden Linien werden auf den Seiten des Gemäldes weitergeführt und verschwinden so förmlich im Unendlichen. Das Bild ist in seinem Wohn- und Atelierhaus in Vacciago am Ortasee entstanden, wo sich heute die "Fondazione Calderara" befindet
