Louis Vivin addresses the French Baroque gardens, whose clear, symmetrical formal language remained popular until the 19th century. At the same time, he breaks up this rigid order by shifting the center of the image to the left.

Louis Vivin thematisiert die französischen Barockgärten, deren klare, symmetrische Formensprache bis ins 19. Jahrhundert Anklang fand. Zugleich durchbricht er diese starre Ordnung, indem er das Bildzentrum nach links verschiebt.
