Marcel Mouly rented a studio from Jacques Lipchitz (1891-1973) and came into closer contact with him. In this way, the artist developed his own style, influenced by Cubism. This is probably a studio scene in which the woman seated on the right is posing as a model for the painter.

Marcel Mouly mietete ein Atelier bei Jacques Lipchitz (1891-1973) und trat intensiver mit diesem in Kontakt. So entwickelte der Künstler seinen eigenen, vom Kubismus beeinflussten Stil. Es dürfte sich um eine Atelierszene handeln, in der die rechts sitzende Frau dem Maler Modell steht.
