Comments

The drawing depicts the left part of the Ghent Altarpiece. Shown is the "Anbetung des Lammes" from the Book of Revelation with angels and saints, executed by Jan van Eyck in 1432. Since 2020, the altarpiece has been in Saint Bavo Cathedral in Ghent.

Erläuterungen

Die Zeichnung stellt den linken Teil des Genter Flügelaltars dar. Zu sehen ist die "Anbetung des Lammes" aus der Offenbarung des Johannes mit Engeln und Heiligen, 1432 von Jan van Eyck ausgeführt. Seit 2020 befindet sich der Altar in der Kathedrale Sankt Bavo in Gent.
