Shirley Goldfarb was an American painter and writer who moved to New York in 1949 and studied at the Art Students League from 1952 to 1953. She was a contemporary of the New York School and met, among others, Jackson Pollock there. In 1954, she finally settled in Paris.

Shirley Goldfarb war eine amerikanische Malerin und Schriftstellerin, die 1949 nach New York zog und von 1952 bis 1953 an der Art Students League studierte. Sie war eine Zeitgenossin der New York School und traf dort u.a. Jackson Pollock. 1954 liess sie sich schliesslich in Paris nieder.
