André du Bouchet structured his sensual poems, which tell of existential experiences, into seven parts. The additionally included suite of seven etchings by Alberto Giacometti portrays du Bouchet from various perspectives. The etchings were originally intended for the work "Le Moteur blanc", but were not used for it and now form a complementary part of the present deluxe edition. A particularly beautiful etching by Alberto Giacometti also serves as the frontispiece for the volume of poems.
Bound by Pierre-Lucien Martin (1913-1985) in 1968.

In sehr schöner Erhaltung
