Comments

The sheet belongs to the group of drawings that the photographer Georges Allié photographed in the artist's studio around 1930 and which were probably acquired en bloc by the collector Gottlieb F. Reber shortly thereafter. Our high-quality work, which shows the artist's interest in representational motifs, was certainly created in connection with the painting "Contraste d'objets" (Bauquier 715) from 1930.

Blatt am oberen rechten Rand mit Knickfalte, leichte Griff- und Atelierspuren, rückseitig mit Montierungsresten. In guter Erhaltung

Erläuterungen

Das Blatt zählt zur Gruppe der Zeichnungen, die der Fotograf Georges Allié um 1930 im Atelier des Künstlers aufnahm und die wahrscheinlich wenig später vom Sammler Gottlieb F. Reber en bloc angekauft wurden. Unsere qualitätsvolle Arbeit, die das Interesse des Künstlers an gegenständlichen Motiven zeigt, ist sicherlich im Zusammenhang mit dem Gemälde "Contraste d'objets" (Bauquier 715) von 1930 entstanden.
