    Comments

Our lithograph was created during a period in which Klee engaged with the childlike perspective and the unconscious in art—two areas that were significant for him at the time: on the one hand through his involvement and interaction with his then five-year-old son Felix, and on the other through his intellectual and spiritual interest in depth psychology in the sense of psychoanalysis and analytical psychology according to Carl Gustav Jung (1875-1961).
