Above the image with a small puncture. Impeccable impression, excellent condition
Alberto Giacometti met Pierre Loeb (1897-1964) through the sculptor Jacques Lipchitz (1891-1973). Loeb is considered Giacometti's first art dealer and especially supported him in the 1940s. Numerous portraits of the gallerist were created during this period, including the present "Triple portrait", which was intended for the book "Regards sur la peinture" (1950), but ultimately was not included in the book. Of great rarity. Probably printed by Georges Leblanc, Paris.
