The watercolour is a preliminary drawing for the woodcut of the same name from 1911 (Stauffer 19), of which a copy is offered in our Online-Only Auction, lot 1266. In contrast to the woodcut, only two figures are depicted in the watercolour.

Das Aquarell ist eine Vorzeichnung zum gleichnamigen Holzschnitt von 1911 (Stauffer 19), von welchem ein Exemplar in unserer Online-Only Auktion, Los 1266, angeboten wird. Auf dem Aquarell sind im Gegensatz zum Holzschnitt nur zwei Figuren dargestellt.
