Impeccable condition
The painting of Kotscha Reist is characterized by lightness and transparency. The artist often positions the "Sichtbare" on the verge of disappearing; he does not paint everything out, but often only hints at what is important. He is interested in nuances, in-between worlds, the slow and the quiet, the reduction to just a few aspects. His pictorial narratives emerge from fragments, which he assembles into a "Szenerie" Viewers are meant to sense that there is much more behind it than is apparent at first glance. Blossoms and branches are often recurring motifs in the artist's work.
