In 1967, the artist created twelve motifs for an album entitled "Nice et la Côte d'Azur", including the present one. He authorized Charles Sorlier to produce the lithographic versions of gouaches, and the sheets were printed by Mourlot, Paris. The present "Hors commerce" copy was produced outside the edition of 225 copies.

As a symbol of southern French zest for life and joy, a woman holds a lavish bouquet of flowers in her hands.

1967 realisierte der Künstler zwölf Motive für ein Album mit dem Titel "Nice et la Côte d'Azur", darunter das vorliegende. Er autorisierte Charles Sorlier mit der lithographischen Umsetzung von Gouachen, gedruckt wurden die Blätter von Mourlot, Paris. Das vorliegende Exemplar "Hors commerce" entstand ausserhalb der Auflage von 225 Exemplaren.

Als Zeichen von südfranzösischer Lebenslust und -freude hält eine Frau einen üppigen Blumenstrauss in den Händen.
