This lithograph was published in the album "Centenaire de l'Imprimerie Mourlot", which was issued in 1955 to mark the centenary of the printing house. The album includes works by the most important artists of the 20th century. Chagall's original lithograph was created in 1952 and published in 1955 in an edition of 75 numbered copies and 35 artist's proofs.

Das Album umfasst Werke der bedeutendsten Künstler des 20. Jahrhunderts. Chagalls Originallithographie entstand 1952, sie erschien 1955 in einer Auflage von 75 nummerierten Exemplaren und 35 Künstlerabzügen.
